Liverpool Consider LaLiga Star.
Liverpool are said you be considering a swoop for Real Sociedad Defender Diego Llorente.
It is understood that Liverpool Manager, Jurgen Klopp has identified the centre back position as an area n need of reinforcement. Dejan Lovren appears to be surplus to requirements with interest in him from a host of clubs and with Joe Gomez and Joel Matip having a history of injuries, it seems the Anfield Manager is looking for a new partner for Virgil Van Dijk.
Sevilla's Diego Carlos is believed to be considered the ideal candidate, however a huge fee appears prohibitive. It's understood, therefore, that Diego Llorente is considered the ideal alternative. The 26 year Old Spaniard is renowned for his exceptional reading of the game, a very useful passer of the ball and fantastic in the air.
We have had a figure of €38million suggested as a figure that could be enough for Real Sociedad do business.
With the current economical issues surrounding football right now, it appears Liverpool need to be cautious over a large outlay, so this has some potential.
Meanwhile, as we reported last week, there is interest in Thiago Alcantara for the midfield, however, this appears only likely in the event a midfielder leaves.

The Uruguayan then moved to Real Zaragoza, totalling 111 appearances and scoring 5 goals, before moving to Italy with Crotone on a 3 year deal.

Liverpool Monitor Chelsea's "Flying Dutchman", Juan Castillo.
Liverpool have been keeping tabs on Chelsea youngster, Juan Castillo. Castillo, 20, who is equally comfortable as a left back or on the left side of midfield, was a product of the famed Ajax academy before moving to Stamford Bridge in 2016.
A top performer throughout the ranks at Chelsea, it was expected he would make the break through into the first team squad this season, however an opportunity presented itself to return to Holland with the Ajax second string, Jong Ajax, where he has notched 23 appearances this season.
Castillo has represented Holland at U15, U16, U17,U18,U19 and U20 level, often impressing with his pace and ability to read the game from both midfield and left back.
Perhaps, more interestingly, Castillo qualifies as a homegrown player, which is a situation Liverpool need to be aware of with their current crop of players so further enhances the appeal for any potential move to the club.
An agreement was in place for Ajax to make the deal permanent, however, no deal was concluded with the player keen to weigh up his potential options.
Perhaps one to keep an eye on.

Thiago Alcantara - Latest
Rumours have been rife over the last couple of weeks regarding Thiago Alcantara, the Bayern Munich midfield orchestrator, who has only a year remaining on his current deal.
Reports have varied, from terms to being agreed to no interest being held in the player at all. As a result a member of our team has decided to do some digging and the findings are perhaps not as conclusive as desired, but certainly gives a an idea of where we are at.
Liverpool seemingly DO hold an admiration for the player, however , as reported by Local press, no approach has yet been made. The players representatives have been sounded out to ascertain the financial package expectation and to gauge whether the player would want to move to Liverpool.
Whilst we have no idea as to figures stipulated, it is believed the player has advised his Representatives that he would be extremely keen on the prospect of moving to Liverpool.
Ok, the interesting part, we understand that in order for Liverpool to pursue any potential deal, finances aside, there would need to be a departure from a well stocked midfield, however, there have been no efforts, to date, to shift any of the current crop on and the manager is seemingly very happy with the players at his disposal in this area of the park.
With this taken into consideration, are there concerns over contracts and a contingency being prepared? to this we have no answers, what is clear, there is an Interest from Both Liverpool and Thiago Alcantara, however, without a notable outgoing from midfield, it seems, as things stand, no move will likely materialise, unless, of course, there is a significant shift in the managers view.

Partizan Wonderkid scouted by Liverpool.
Filip Stevanovic is a young player with a growing reputation, the speedy and tricky winger has been lighting up the Serbian SuperLiga with some blistering performances this season.
The 17 year old has received adoring looks from many sides across Europe with Liverpool said to have been to watch him on no less than 4 occasions this season.
Partizan Belgrade are acutely aware of the interest in their young star and hope to hold on to an asset that is growing in value by the day, however, this could prove difficult if a sizeable bid were to be received.
Stevanovic cuts a diminutive figure, standing at 5ft 9", however shows strength beyond his stature, blessed with blistering pace and an eye for a pass, he poses a constant threat to opposing defences. Able to play both flanks and a more central role, Stevanovic could offer a solution to cover Liverpool's much heralded front line and with a suggested figure of £22 million, could offer a more affordable option in strengthening the forward places during the unprecedented financial impact of Covid 19.The Partizan star does not turn 18 until September, further making him an enticing prospect as he falls way within the recruitment policy of FSG and the recruitment team at Liverpool Football Club.
We appreciate that not all interest in players amounts to a signature, however, the level of scouting by Liverpool on Stevanovic suggests there is a good degree of interest and could well be one to keep an eye on.
Thiago Alcantara linked with Reds Move!
Reported Liverpool Target, Thiago Alcantara, would "Absolutely Love the football" and would fit "Perfectly" with Reds manager, Jurgen Klopp.
Germany Legend Lothar Mattheus is seemingly of firm belief the player is considering the Premier League as his next destination with Liverpool hotly tipped to firm up their reported interest.
Thiago joined Bayern Munich in 2013 and has been a consistent performer, often dazzling supporters with his knack for work in tight spaces and killer eye for a pass.
With only 1 year left on his contract, and having a change of heart relating to previously agreed terms on a renewal, Bayern seem resigned to having to cash in on the Spaniard.
Liverpool have hinted at a relatively quiet window due to the Corona Virus impact on finances, however, with a reported fee of £32 Million, this could be a deal worth pursuing.
Meanwhile, Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge hinted that Thiago is likely to leave Bayern in the summer as the club have already done their best to convince him to stay.
Will Thiago Alcantara be wearing the Red of Liverpool next season? It certainly seems to be one to watch.
